Satellite Training Details
Looking ahead, our next meeting on August 4th will be Satellite Training. Just like last year, we’ve divided the association into geographic groups and assigned each group to a local meeting spot with several leaders already in place. Those leaders are currently confirming final locations, so there may be a few adjustments—stay tuned.
📍 You can view your assigned Satellite location here:
Satellite Groups Spreadsheet
Key Notes:
- Utilities will have their own separate Satellite group this year, meeting as usual at Holy Innocents.
➤ If you’re helping John with Utility training at Holy Innocents, please let your Satellite leader know so they can plan for headcount. - The address used for grouping is pulled from Arbiter. If your assigned location doesn’t make sense:
- Let me know
- Update your address in Arbiter
- If you need to attend a different Satellite location, just let me know—this helps us balance the groups and make sure hosts are prepared.
📝 What to Bring:
Printouts with training materials and instructions will be sent out over the next few days so you can be ready to participate fully.
🍔 Atmosphere:
Many of these locations are restaurants or similar spaces. That’s on purpose—we want to create a casual, social environment where you can get to know the members you’ll likely be working with throughout the season.
Food and drinks (yes, even a beer) are encouraged—just remember you’re responsible for your own tab.
“If a meeting doesn’t have food, it should have been an email.”
If you have questions or need help, your position reps or I can answer any questions.
